Wanted Levels and Heat System

The wanted levels in GTA VI have undergone significant changes, increasing to a maximum of six stars, allowing for better nuance in police threats. The stars will change appearance to indicate whether the police are investigating a crime or actively pursuing a player.

The heat system accompanies the wanted levels, displaying icons that indicate the information the police have. These icons may include elements like security cameras or accomplices, and each marker can make escaping more difficult if it is active.

To escape the police, it is advisable to take preventative measures like changing clothes or hiding. For example, the vehicle heat icon will disappear immediately when the character exits the car.
